Summer storms and fiery dreams. Life was bare, taken to extremes. I didn't know how life could change. Those green lights, they seemed so strange. This my song for you my girl. Chorus: The first night that we danced, our love was forged nothing left to chance. The first night that we kissed, our love was forged and now you're away and I miss you by my side. This was all I wanted - for love to last forever - but baby there are better things yet to come. Summer dreams, and fiery storms. She couldn't care, love transformed. I don't know, how I feel. But baby there are better things yet to come. This is my song for you my girl! CHORUS This is my song, for you. This is my song for you my girl. The only one! The only one! CHORUS
2.
Find Me 02:38
Find me, everything I am. Find me, everything I’ve lost. Find me, things I thought were true. And I might just get through this. Chorus: Before I am done I know I’ll find the one. Before my time comes I know I’ll find the one. This is the end for you and for me. I know I can be someone’s everything. Rain pours over everything. Staring, the white wash life can bring. It's too much, I should disagree. Where are you now? I hope you're happy! CHORUS I’m still naïve and a little young. I’m trying hard to be my father’s son! BUT I KNOW YOU’RE SCARED, I SEE YOU CRYING BUT I CAN’T RELATE. I HOPE THAT YOU CAN SAVE YOURSELF. I CAN’T FIX YOU BUT I’LL BE RIGHT THERE!

Shining lights on the boulevard Stars in the sky, we're gonna let down our guard (This is the time to lose ourselves). Driving fast to make up time New doors open but the world is mine (This is the line to lose ourselves) Chorus: (So we'll go...) Back to the past, where we never really had a chance Back to the times where we never stole a backward glance When we did what we did just for the fun of it (Just for the fun of it!) And now we're here so we'll say (one more time!) So I can feel the way I felt again (get in line!) at the best show with our favourite friends! Cause we do what we do for every one of you (for every one of you) And we are in it ‘til the end! Daydreams turn into reality, Lights shine bright like they want the world to see. This is the time to lose ourselves. Can't see straight but I know what I want, and I’m here to stay! This is the time to lose ourselves. CHORUS Speak out just a little bit louder now! Jump up just a little bit higher now! (Back to the past, we’ll go back to the past) Jump up, jump up! CHORUS SO LET'S BREAK IT DOWN!

These broken clocks can't count time As long as you're here all mine. Safety in numbers, or so they say. When we are here, nothing's in the way. Chorus: Baby, the night sky is alive with love tonight. Show me love like never before. Oh don't you wanna go where lovers have never gone before. These souls collide, and I'll take a stand. Conquer this world so come take my hand. Not like love's fair, as lovers you can wish. Our love is sealed with your faithful kiss. CHORUS
6.
(We've tried so hard so many times to have and cling onto contentment inside, but we fail again and again to make dreams become reality in our turbulent minds. We sink desperately in the ocean waves of hope, hoping someone will send us recognition or a sense of scope, but now on the horizon of being told we never could, I'm seeing myself in a way I wish others would.) Talking to you is like facing a brick wall. It started so long ago, now I can't stop the fall. Talking to you is like facing a brick wall. Our love died so long ago, and I'm sick of it all. It's like the blinding glare of a guiding light that shines upon the sole purpose of my life. It doesn't make much sense to me but who am I to know what I'm meant to be When I'm standing on the edge of childhood? Chorus: My eyes burn in the light of your piercing gaze tonight. And the dreams we had as children, they never left my side, but you left mine! Oh you left mine! For eighteen years I fought uncertainty, tried to run from a thing called 'responsibility'. But I'm done, I've righted wrongs, I've loved bad people but I'm going strong And now I know what I want from life. CHORUS
7.
This is a story, a boy and a girl. It's never been written, so I'll let it unfurl. He was the lover, she was beloved. It's part of history, and needs to be heard. Chorus: Everything he wanted was there in her eyes. The sun and the moon but hey, everything dies. She was the light that brought his ship home to shore, And everyday with her had something new in store. He lost his way, in this, his own fairytale. He walked for forty days and thought just one more day. He spoke to the wise man who talked of love and decay. He said "Boy you've got so much further to run, Love's always the answer. Go ahead my son."   CHORUS The stars knew everything, the moon could see, A meaningless thing was all he could be. The stars knew everything, the moon just stared, And they both knew that she never cared.   Everything he wanted was there in her eyes. The sun and the moon but hey, everything dies. She was the light that brought his ship home to shore, And everyday with her had something new in store. He lost his way, in this, my own fairytale. Everything I wanted was there in her eyes. The sun and the moon but hey, everything dies. She was the light that brought my ship home to shore, And everyday with her had something new in store. I lost my way, in this, my own fairytale.

I’m holding on to a tragic kind of hope, But I hate every night that we have spent apart. I hear our loving words, cry out for you at night unheard. I love the memories that stop my lonely heart. Chorus: Give her no reason to leave Cos I was always sure that we were meant to be. Give her a reason to stay I’ll make her smile again some day. Goodnight sweetheart, I’ll dream of you anyway I’m sorry for being in love without a clue. You live on without a care, it’s 3am and I’m nowhere, At the bottom of a bottle that’ll hurt me less than you. CHORUS You don't know what it's like! To be the one, left behind! I can see right through your lies. You don't know what it's like! To be the one who has to walk away first, and leave all of this behind! You’ve caused me more grief than I could have guessed, But I remain hopeful, That you will say yes! Back down from living in his life. Walk away before leaving is harder now. Back down from leading him through life. Run away, take my final bow! CHORUS
9.
Is it me, or do the days go by, So fast that when I'm with you, I can't find the time, To speak the words that I want to say, cos I need to leave you, I'm so out of line. Chorus: Come back, come back, see the pain in my eyes, Let's talk this out, cos I need to say, I've found another. Come back, come back, and see how our love dies. I don't want to feel this way, so I'll run, I'll run for cover. I've never done this before, so I can feel all the pain. Both of us clawing at hope to the last, Teardrops on shirts symbolise this love pain. I never really loved you, lets keep this. Lets keep this in our past. CHORUS I've found love like never before, And this time I'm not turning back Where are all the plans, oh which we've come to rely on, God just let me go! Come back, come back. Leave the pain behind. I’ve got one thing to say! You’re one of a kind! CHORUS

about

An idea born and hastily written down on a scrap of paper during a particularly slow day. Now, a fully-fledged pop-punk band. Amazing what a couple of years can do. What started as a group of friends tentatively writing and playing demos in the early days of college has become a passion for all five of us, and we only ripped off two or three bands in the process. Sorry about that, Me vs Hero. And Neck Deep. Oh, and Mayday Parade. After a few months, however, we realised our music was becoming dull, stale, formulaic. Everything had stagnated and we wondered if we’d ever recover. Was it the end of a project that had only just ripped off its training wheels and thrown them out for good? Because of course, everything breaks down. But then, from out of nowhere, He came into our lives. A shining star, our saviour, inspiration and idol - Jarrod Alonge. We learned to be unafraid of the expressions we pull on stage, learned to live with Jack’s dumb puns, Bertie’s refusal to wear anything other than PE shirts or V-necks, Tom’s quiff, or Matt trying to turn us into a Trve Kvlt Black Metal band.

So we got writing again, and this is the outcome – The End of an Era. This is the saga of two years of college, sober days, drunken nights, gigs, loving and losing, failed recordings, and finally, successfully recording. Now we’re all being unintentionally pop punk and leaving our hometown to start university or gap years, but we’re leaving this album behind as evidence that we were here. We’ve had so much fun recording the album, but it’s also a reflection of how far we’ve come in two years. Those early demos were a laugh to listen to. So for now, it’s ‘goodbye’ from us, but we’ll be back, and we’ll be totally reinventing ourselves as a drop-tuned brutal beatdown band. Honest. Either that or we’ll become Everyday DronedO)))wn.

In all seriousness, if you listen to these songs or read this, remember: we might be gone for a while, but there are better things yet to come.
